Reblogged from COMBINATORY ART IN MOTION:
These pieces were an attempt at connection or syncing up as a practice of being with the other. It was an attempt at a communion of sorts, a slowing, a shared feeling in time. It demanded concentration and release from personal control-to follow, while noticing resistance and the desire to influence, while noticing judgements and sensor of one's self and the other, letting go of outcome and surrendering to process.
Another from my co-authored site:) I'd be really curious what you all think about such things...anyone out there that is doing something related I would love to know about it or be directed to it. Thanks so much-
Holly
